If returning or exchanging an item at AV Trends, a valid photo ID is
Return & Exchange Period
14 days for non-special
order desktop and notebook computers, tablets, monitors,
projectors, camcorders, digital cameras, radar detectors, DJ
equipment and lighting, pro audio, home recording equipment, AV
Receivers, DVD Players and other items carried in the store at time
30 days for all
other products that AV Trends stocks.
Special Order Items
(anything not carried in store at time of purchase, that AV Trends
needs to order from a distributor) of all categories are
AV Trends is more than happy to assist with
warranty repair issues.
AV Trends reserves the right to deny any return or exchange.
Some items cannot be returned, including:
Labor, delivery and/or completed installation services
Digital content (e.g., game and movie downloads)
Microphones, earbuds, harmonicas and other similar products
Consumable items such as food, drinks and batteries
Items that are damaged or abused
Items that are missing accessories such as remote controls, cords
Etched or otherwise personalized items
Opened computer software, movies, music and video games can be
exchanged for the identical item but cannot be returned for a refund
Returns In Store
Avoid shipping charges and receive a refund more quickly by returning
your items to any Best Buy store within the United States.
Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories
Bring your receipt or packing slip and a valid photo ID. We accept
these forms of identification:
US, Canadian or Mexican driver's license
US state-issued ID
Canadian province-issued ID
US military-issued ID
Returns By Mail
You can also return online purchases through the mail.
Pack your return in the original shipping package.
Include the packing slip and return label, and indicate the reason
for the return.
Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories.

For proof of delivery, we recommend that you return items via UPS or
Qualified Refund Method
For qualified in-store purchases:
Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original purchase.
However, when the item was paid with cash or debit in an amount greater
than $250 or in a check in an amount greater than $300, the refund will
be in the form of a check mailed within 30 business days of the return.
Promotional Items and Bundles
When returning an item with a free
gift promotion, you must also return the free gift. If you
don't, the refund amount will be reduced to reflect the value of the
When a bundle is
purchased and only part of the bundle is returned, the bundle discount
is void, and for return purposes, it's like the bundle never happened.
So if a single product from a bundle is returned, the total bundle
discount will be deducted from the refund. For example, if you receive
$200 in savings when you purchase a laptop and printer together and you
return either item, the $200 amount will be subtracted from your refund.
A 25% cancellation fee will be charged for special order appliances that
are returned or exchanged.
